This is one of a series of murals around the Lancashire fishing village of Poulton le Sands around which the town of Morecambe has grown. They reflect the history and culture of Poulton.

This railway station mural is located close to the site of the original railway station that served this area. The railway station is now closer to the centre of the town.

Like all of the murals in this series, it is made using a coloured render rather than paint. This should ensure that it lasts a long time.
