This glorious altar leaves one speechless. My husband and I ran across this outdoor altar 3 years ago while doing some night caching. We have made it a tradition to stop here every year on vacation. It is found at The Immaculate Conception Church in New Lebanon, New York.
There is a little water fall that runs through the bottom of the altar. The slight sound of trickling water calms the spirit as your sense of sight fills your soul with peace.
There is a little parking lot specifically for altar parking. I suggest going there at night where the lights and the flames of the candles leaves one breathless.
