The Klein Clock was erected in 1938 by Kein and Son Jewelers in front of their store in the Central Bank Building on Dexter Avenue. It remained there until the store relocated in 1986. In 2009, the family gave the clock to the City Of Montgomery, which restored it and placed it back on its sidewalk location near Court Square at the foot of Dexter Avenue.
