Steed returns from holiday to find a girl, Georgie, impersonating Emma Peel. Steed tries to find who hired the girl, but every time he finds a lead, the person involved gets killed by a little old lady brandishing a knitting needle. Eventually Steed manages to trace Emma to an organisation called Art Incorporated. They have kidnapped Emma for a client, and she is to become Lot 17 in an auction.
The scene where Emma emerges from a party and is kidnapped is located at the disused gates of Dyrham Park Golf Club at Trotters Bottom.
