The Tower of this Grade II* listed church is a combination of two lower C14th stages of flint and stone rubble with stone dressings and an upper C17th stage of red brickwork, with a crenellated parapet.

The cut-mark is in good condition on the north face of the tower near the north-west corner, about 0.6m above ground level. It was last verified in 1958 as being 84.0608m above Newlyn Datum.
