This hotel has expanded over the years and is made up of a number of different buildings. It looks like this used to be the main entrance to the hotel, but is now only a side entrance. This certainly is not where the hotel reception is located.
The mural on the left hand side is of a fish, and on the right hand side is a cockerel. Each of the murals are square and consist of painted ceramic tiles in a 10 x 10 arrangement. Each of the murals has one tile signed by Diaz Costa of Bisbal.
This website indicates that he was a painter, landscaper born in 1909 and died in 1964. He moved to La Bisbal in 1950 and has some of his work displayed in the Museum of Modern Art of Barcelona. (

This coastal hotel and the inland town of La Bisbal are both in the Emporda district of Catalonia in Eastern Spain. La Bisbal is a major producer of ceramics with many factories and shops specialising in Ceramic products.
