EN: This stone cross with a golden Jesus figure stands in the north of Witterswil at a junction of the road to Benken.
The stone cross has the letters INRI at the top and a year 1830 over the side arms. The golden figure of Jesus partly covers the two inner digits. So it was presumably mounted later.
DE: Diese Steinkreuz mit einer goldenen Jesusfigur steht im Norden von Witterswil an einer Kreuzung der Strasse nach Benken.
Das Steinkreuz hat die Buchstaben INRI an der Spitze und eine Jahreszahl 1830 über die Seitenarme. Die goldene Jesusfigur verdeckt die beiden Inneren Ziffern zum Teil. Vermutlich wurde sie erst später angebracht.
