Located in the small community of Vacherie, this cemetery has a mixture of old and recent graves. Cemetery also features a large modern mausoleum. Also has a good number of family crypts. Cemetery is about 500 feet to the east of the actual church building.
The church was started as Notre Dame de La Paix in 1894. There has been a catholic services held here since 1854. The church building was built in 1902, and is still the original church building.
