Are there any cliffs in the area with some potential, but because they have little long, little time or access to a less convenient, the work equipment have focused on mesh d'Oro.
This same work began around 1990 with what was probably the first way of Reguengo, Pebble Height (6b), opened by Caesar, then chairman of the NEL. Another way this season is the Flash (seventh), equipped by José Carlos Sousa.
Since 1993, there is a continuous evolution over the school, in charge of the climbers latest NEL: Americo Santos (Mekhitar), Nuno Santos, Sérgio Marques Silva and Alexander among others. All were part of a batch fresh from a course given by the NEL and carried out an excellent work by mid-1996. The highlight of this season was the 1st National Meeting of climbers in 1995, which had the toughest route to Face of Death (7b), and equipped by Mekhitar Pedro Pimentel. To date, about twenty were equipped routes, only a few more lines equipped with the top, a figure that would not change much until 1998.
Despite the period of stagnation that has lived on the cliffs of the mesh d'Ouro - regarding the equipment of new roads - there were two climbers usual Reguengo that during their many visits to the school visits, imagine new lines. Why did not drill, cooked in their heads how to implement these lines. These climbers were Jorge Portugal and the author of this text, before this big problem, just arranged a solution: take a generator near the cliff where they could turn a drill eéctrico. So, cleaned and scored several old and new lines have been fitted in a single weekend, as it was very painful to load the generator. Any resemblance of photos with the location of the cache is pure coincidence! This work has resulted in about fifteen new ways that gave rise to a new era.

We are in late 1998 and double that of equipment already publishes the first Guide to Climbing Reguengo fetal life and which had as its breakthrough use of color photographs. Together with other climbers decide to buy a drill gasoline, a much more comfortable that the generator. By this time, climbers begin to appear in Lisbon with the intention of equipping, including Nuno Pinheiro, Francisco Costa and Philip Ataíde that so far about ten-way match and, except for two, no lower than 7c.
When, in 2000, is held the 2nd National Meeting of climbers do Reguengo, organized in GRF and the Foot in Rail, who had at their disposal about sixty tracks, which the hardest was the Goat White Goat Black (8a + ), creating Filipe Costa.
In May 2002 took place the 3rd Meeting of climbers, only this time organized by the Foot Rail. In September this year there were 77 routes, among which there were three projects: Roast beef and 80th percentile in the input sector and the sector is Back Painless chimney.
Finally, one can not fail to acknowledge the contribution of some climbers who have participated in the recent development of the school: Fernando Pereira, and José João Almeida Neto. This trend, fortunately, can still continue for some time, since there is still very virgin rock to more tracks, to the total saturation of the cliff. It is also important to note the contribution of the Battle of City Hall, the Parish Council and the House of the People's Reguengo fetus.
