Abbie Turner - Seward Mem. Cemetery - Guthrie, OK - Homemade Tombstones on Waymarking.com

Seward Memorial Cemetery is located on the southwest corner of the intersection. On the north edge of the cemetery is the site of Abbie Turner's headstone.

The headstone is a thin slab of concrete on which is painted with black paint, covered with white paint, the words:

IN MEMORD
ABBIE TURNER
BORN 11-14-1927
DIED 8-21-1997

The plot is outlined with red bricks and no grass is growing over the site. As I wandered through the cemetery, reading and taking photos, I looked up and was started to see a cow. She walked quickly past me, and then turned and gave me the evil eye! (see photo gallery)
