This section of Phnom Penh, along the Mekong River is the tourist and glitzy part of the city, thus there is a goodly amount of neon here. One of the more expensive hotels in the city (as are all of those on the river) is the 'River Star Hotel'. It also has a restaurant and cafe. Advertising the presence of the hotel is a big and bright neon sign.
