The Atheneum in New Harmony, IN not only serves as a drastic change in the town's historic approach and look, but it is also the small town's visitor center.
The building contains all the local information anyone would need to enjoy their time in the historic / artistic town. It has a 200 seat theater that shows a 17 minute movie about the history of the town. It also has scale-models of different areas of the town.

9:30am to 5:00pm but closed for major holidays
