The high point is accessible by a short marked footpath from Route 101 (trail head at N41º 51.072 W71º 46.753). The high point is located on land owned by Brown University however until recent years was not accessible because the landowner of the property between the highway and the high point would not allow access. With a change of landowners a trail has been opened which allows access 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The high point itself is located at a rock outcropping on the north side of a clearing used by Brown University as a observatory.
