In Boston, by a parking lot next to an old municipal pool is this survey disk mounted in the pavement at sidewalk level.

To get to the mark, either follow the path along the Charles River from west to east through Charlesbank Park, then at the entrance from the parking lot walk left along the iron fence to the mark about 100 ft from the entrance way - or, from the pedestrian bridge over Storrow Blvd near Blossom Street walk to the right of the old pool to the parking lot then walk along the iron fence at the river to the mark just to the left.

The mark is horizontally mounted in the stone sidewalk and is about 5 ft from the fence, and less than a foot from the edge to the parking lot. It is close enough that a car with a long overhang could obscur the disk from above.

The top of the mark is embedded, "CA/T 658," and there is a depression in the center.

CA/T stands for "Central Artery Tunnel", which stands for Central Artery Tunnel Authority, which was the agency that placed the mount - now rolled into the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT).

The disk is in good condition.
