"The Community Church of Manitou Springs was built in 1880, making it the oldest continually used Congregational church building in the State of Colorado. The rare Anderson Pipe Organ is one of only two left in the country. The church is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to reflect a classic and quaint style of sacred architecture." (from (

This lovely structure has been expanded several times, but each modification was kept in the Gothic style as to enhance the beauty. The church still is still active and is affiliate4d with the United Church or Christ (http://www.ucc.org/ ) (from (
