The caves of St. Beatus are in a rock wall above Lake Thun. They are a popular tourist destination. Just next to the cave entrance there is a restaurant that has this pin above the door. It is on the outside, but the place is roofed.
The marker says this is the world's largest pin according to the Guinness Book of Records, but it does not tell a date or any other details. The pin is about two meters high and 1.5 meters wide. It shows a picture of St. Beatus and the dragon that he defeated here in the medieval legend.
