The grave stone overtly and also more subtly displays Mr Layton's occupation. The stone, rather than granite or stone, is made of poured concrete and large hex bolts are strategically placed throughout the stone. So not only does the stone clearly state that Mr Layton was a builder, it is also reflected in the design of the headstone itself.
