Located near a petting pool...where folks can touch living starfish and sea urchins and other snall ocean creatures, this starfish is depicted as if it were trying to stand up..not the usual flat surface-clinging creature we might normally see. It has an almost coral color with white nodes scattered across it. It rests on near circular pedestal which has bronze plaques informing visitors about different types of starfish.
