This well-kept church commands a spectacular position in the village of Maulden. Here we see the font and brasses in detail.

The octagonal font has a different emblem on each side of the bowl, each of religious significance. The font appears modern and is of white stone with a plinth and column base.

Inside The Saint Alban Chapel are some memorial brasses. These are dedicated to the Faldo family and date to the 16th century. They were once part of the tombs to the family which were where the organ is now situated.

The first church of Maulden originated in 1252 and the oldest part of the church which remains today is the north wall. There are some excellent details on the church website below.
