The CVG airport officially opened for business on January 10, 1947. Delta was the first to introduce commercial jet service at CVG in 1960. Deregulation in 1979 resulted in a growth spurt with the establishment of CVG as a Delta hub. The 1990's saw further expansion with new runways and concourses. Today, CVG offers 200 daily departures to 65+ non-stop cities, including non-stop service to Paris, Toronto and Cancun.
