There was a Sardine Cannery in this place.
Few Sardine factories remain today. This factory ended it´s production in the late 1970´s/1980´s and the ruins remained untill a couple of years ago when a new shopping center was develloped.
The chimney´s remained and a new garden and kids playground was built around it.
A stork built it´s nest on the top of the chimney.
