The beach of Luzern has a length of 300 meters and has also many green areas. It has a restaurant, several sports fields (soccer, volleyball), a large playground, a diving platform in the lake and a pool for those who think the lake is too cold.
The swimming area is marked. Better do not swim outside. Commercial passenger ships cross just behind the buoys.
Lido is open daily from May until September. Admission prices are CHF 7 for adults and CHF 4 for children above six.
The beach is located at the north shore of the lake, just next to the well-known Swiss Transport Museum.
