The caboose is located in the backyard of a house in Alviso. Since the caboose is almost as big as the house, it can be seen from the street. About a block away is the old depot, which is now a private residence.
The caboose was originally a Texas & New Orleans Caboose Class C-30-4. When bought by Southern Pacific, they were renumbered.
Current Use:
Abandoned in backyard.
