CZ: Tento dub letní (Quercus robur) udivuje jak svou mohutností, tak stárím. Na brehu Plavného rybníka u cesty mezi Kobylou nad Vidnavkou a Cernou Vodou stojí již asi 420 let (jiné prameny uvádejí 300, ale i skoro 500 let). Stojí na okraji lesního porostu, z nehož vycnívá nejen svou výškou asi 35 metru, ale také mohutným kmenem o obvodu asi 5 metru. Od roku 1982 je strom zarazen mezi památné stromy CR. Chránen je zejména pro své stárí a estetickou hodnotu. Celá lokalita s Plavným rybníkem je velmi malebná a urcite stojí za návštevu.
EN: This oak – Quercus robur – amazes both with its age and proportions. It is about 420 years old. It stands at the bank of the Plavný pond by the path between the villages Kobylá nad Vidnavkou and Cerná Voda. It is about 35 m high and its girth is about 500 cm. Since 1982 it has been a memorable tree of the Czech republic. It is protected for its age and esthetic value. The whole territory with the Plavný pond is very picturesque and is worth seeing.
