Old Ordnance Survey maps do not acknowledge the exixstence of this milestone although it clearly pre-detes others in the area.

It is clearly old and erosion has exposed some of the harder elements that were probably not been exposed when it was placed in the first place.

The upper portion is damaged and can not be read but was probably '25 miles to'. It features roman numerals.
