The Caledonia Fair has an over 130 year history. The Fair itself has had many ups and downs and received a Class A status in 1971. The fair grounds had a horse racing track up until the 1990s and hosted hockey in the arena until the 2000s.
The fair, in addition to midway rides, features a demolition derby, tractor pull and many food vendors and shops. The arena now hosts the many competition winners in areas such as fruit/vegetable sizes, cooking, knitting, painting. Livestock are also shown and prizes are awarded. High school competitions are also held at the fair.
The grounds are used for the "Caledonia Stampede", dog shows and other great events.
When's the Fair?: Last Thursday of September to Sunday.
Who's at the Fair?: Worlds Finest Shows - Conklin Midway. Caledonia Agricultural Society
