What I say:-
This milestone is in the wrong place and has been re-positioned from elsewhere. The milestone has milages on it that simply don't add up with it's location and the next milestone up the road.
It is however, well preserved and looked after although it looks a sthough it should be a pivot and I can't spot the 'hole'.
