Chicopee has recently refurbished the area around the City Hall and the adjacent library. A plaza has been created which features plantings, bench seating, and a new town clock. The clock stands near the sidewalk on Center Street (Route 116) south of the City Hall. This ornate double-faced clock is painted black with gold trim.
At the top of the clock, the town name is written in all capital gold letters:

Below the clock face is written:

Below the south face of the pedestal in raised letters enclosed in a rectangle is the inscription:
