Located in the Fort Christiansvaern visitor center, Christainsted. The fort is the starting point for visiting several historic buildings in Christainsted, most within sight of the Fort. the fort itself was built in 1728.
Also at this location are the stamps for Buck Island National Reef, and Salt River Bay.
Buck Island can only be reached by boat (1.5 miles off the north shore of St. Croix) and has no facilities unless you count the underwater trail markers on the reef. Salt River Bay has hiking trails and inturpetive plaques and can be visited on foot or by sea kayak.
