This memorial is at the entrance to Garcia Cemetery, an old Catholic Cemetery that has served this community for many years. The cemetery itself is in the heart of Wickenburg, an old west community. Rising above it is an apartment complex. It is surrounded by vacant land and park land for a community. There are many veterans buried here. The flag can be readily seen from the street and nearby businesses. The marker is a large sandstone slab standing upright on a large white brick base. The military markers at this cemetery tell the story of a community's war veterans.
