Abutting the Mekong River, in north eastern Thailand, is the city and province of Mukdahan (Muk). There is only one sizeable fountain in the city, as far as I could find, this lies near the city centre, near several municipal instrumentalities, on a busy traffic roundabout—a public feature.
The fountain is maybe 5m in diameter, with three levels of water and fountains, with a central fountain atop. There is a small garden around the fountain. Not an overly original design, lacking any flourishes, but standing near the fountain is refreshingly cooling, on a hot Thai day.
