According to the tourgide, this disk was placed to mark the deepest point in the cavern along the tour route. The rockformation is known as 'the Ram' and is along the right of the tour route, although the tour doubles back in this area & you will pass the formation again.


Setting Agency may have been U.S. Engineer Dept. & the '413' stamping may not be the elevation above sea level as the terrain at the entrance to the cave is over 900 feet and the caves go down approximately 250 feet (if memory serves correctly).

Coordinates are estimated as GPS readings are impossible.
