This sculpture can be found by looking up at the wall of Sidney Smith Hall, on St. George St., University of Toronto. In downtown Toronto you can find two other sculptures by Yarwood - Cedars at 19 Russell Street and Pines at 77 Wellesley Street.

Walter Yarwood was part of the Painters Eleven group that formed in the 1950's. These eleven abstract painters were all from Ontario, Canada. Soon after this group disbanded in 1960 Yarwood stopped painting and concentrated on sculpture. Walter Yarwood was born in Toronto in 1917. He died in Hamilton in 1996.
