Ausgemauerte Stollenanlage, klassizistischer Stollenmund mit Bezeichnung 1844 (Anschlag) und 1855 (Einweihung). Der Stollen beginnt beim ehemaligen Forsthaus, Teisendorfer Str. 51. Der Eingang ist abgesperrt.
Der Bau des Maximilian II. Erbstollen war für den Fortbestand der Zeche entscheidend. Die Eisengewerkschaft ließ im Jahr 1844 in Achthal den Stollen anschlagen und in Richtung Neukirchen vortreiben. Neukirchen und Achthal befanden sich seit 1810 auf bayerischem Territorium. Deshalb benannte man 1854 die Stollenanlage nach dem bayerischen König Maximilian II. (1848-1864). 1856 erreichte der Stollen nach 1997m das Ulrichflöz. Als tiefster Stollen (Erbstollen) entwässerte er die Grubenanlage. Er wurde durch einen Erzsturzschacht mit dem darüber liegenden Christophstollen verbunden und war seitdem auch als Förderstollen in Betrieb.

A walled mining tunnel system with classical tunnel mouth with a label 1844 (shaft station) and 1855 (consecration). The mining tunnel starts at the former forester house, Teisendorf Str. 51. The entrance is locked.
The construction of Maximilian II Sough was essential to the survival of the bill. The iron union started in 1844 with the tunnel from Achthal towards Neukirchen. Neukirchen and Achthal were located since 1810 on Bavarian territory. Therefore the tunnel system was named 1854 according to the Bavarian King Maximilian II (1848-1864). 1856 the tunnel reached with 6552 feet Ulrichflöz. As the deepest tunnels (Sough) he drained the mine plant. He was connected with a Erzsturzschacht with the overlying Christoph-mining-system and since then been operating as an adit.
