The 'Good Mook' has long been the city of Mukdahan's leading cafe. These days there is some serious competition, but due to its central location, tasty treats, and loyal clientele, the Good Mook is still popular. The interior is decked out in a rather retro, western style, and serves a variety of Thai/western dishes, plus good coffee. There is free wifi and a selection of books and magazines to while away the hours. If it had more than a handful of vegetarian options on the menu I would give it four stars, but...
A visit is recommended if you happen to find yourself in Mukdahan, on the Mekong River.
