A pub which has had a turbulent few years, having closed twice in the last few years due to lack of trade.
The previous landlord was evicted by the pub owners. When the pub opened again with a new landlord, the locals boycotted the pub as they stayed loyal to the previous landlord.
It opened again in April 2011, having undergone a refurbishment.
