Sa Talaia is the highest point on the island Ibiza, one of the Balearic Islands. The peak lies in the south of the island and reaches 476 meters. There is a nice hiking trail to the summit that starts in Sant Josep de Talaia, opposite the church. The route is about 3 km (one way). You can follow the signs. By car you can drive an unpaved road that leads to the top. This road starts, driving from Sant Joseph de Talaia to Cala Vedella, on the left hand side. There is also a signpost at the beginning. The view at the top of Sa Talaia isn’t great because of all the trees. If you go a little bit further on the road, the view at the subtop is much better! (If you take the walk, you first get at the subtop!).
