CZ: Cervenolistá forma buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica atropurpurea ci též atropunicea) se obvykle nedožívá príliš vysokého veku a nedosahuje žádných mimorádných rozmeru.
EN: Redleaf form of beech (Fagus sylvatica atropurpurea or atropunicea) usually does not reach high age and extraordinery proportions. But this one situated near Holešov castle is an exception. It was planted about 300 years ago, is 22 m high a its girth is 590 cm. It is a bit damaged on one side, but still beautiful and steady. In 1980 it was registered in the official list of memorable trees of the Czech republic. There was probably another beech on the other side of the castle, but perished a long time ago.
