The Pearl Harbor Memorial Committee of the East Hanover American Legion dedicated a Walkway of Honor and Monument to honor the men and women of the East Hanover area who served in every war and conflict from the American Revolution to the present. The dedication was on Memorial Day in 2002.

Description of Memorial: The Walkway of Honor is a brick walkway in a park that has a several military memorials. The park is adjacent to the town library and is located on Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover. The walkway had about 500 bricks in it. There is one large brick with the title "Walkway of Honor" on it. The other bricks are of various sizes to fit the inscriptions to honor the men and women who served in wars.
