Located on the midway at Waldameer Park in Erie, PA, the Grand Carousel replaced Waldameer's original carousel in 1988. The original featured hand-carved horses which were sold at auction for more than $1,000,000 dollars which was used to expand the water park.
The new carousel was produced by Chance Manufacturing of Witchita, KS and features 60 moving animals.

Hours of Operation:
Hours vary by time of year but usually noon - 10:00 PM. Hours are posted on their website. Waldameer is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day. The park is closed on Mondays.
