This 1/3 scale replica of the C.P. Huntington takes its passengers on a 1 mile tour of the Safari Land section of the Erie Zoo. According to the engineer for our journey, the locomotive, purchased new in 2008 to replace a 1972 model and is powered by a four-cylinder Ford Focus engine. Like many miniature railroad locmotives, it is a 1/3 scale replica of th C.P. Huntington, which played an important role in the building of the first transcontinental railroad.
