Munot is an old fortification on a hill in Schaffhausen. It is a tourist attraction today and offers a great view over the medieval city center and the surrounding area.
This view is towards east overlooking the Rhine.
The old postcard from about 1910 (it's undated) shows a surprisingly similar picture to the current view. Only a few houses have been replaced by newer ones, and the forests and agricultural areas are more or less the same today.
