The scenes in terra cotta along the top range from Fort Dearborn on the left, through the Michigan Avenue skyline (including the Palmer House Hotel, the Auditorium, the Art Institute and the former Chicago Public Library (now Cultural Center)) to the Wrigley Building on the right.
The color scheme is blue, beige and rust. There are numerous geometric adornments from top to bottom.
This is one of those places you drive by for 50 years before you stop to check out the amazing details.
