Morgan Depot - Morgan City, UT - Train Stations/Depots on Waymarking.com

The Morgan Depot is one of many Union Pacific depots designed by Gilbert Stanley Underwood. Replacing an earlier station, it was completed by Union Pacific in 1926 and retired in 1972. The freight portion survived until recently and was moved to a new location.

The Union Pacific train station in Morgan continues to sit beside the mainline, decades after the last passenger train has stopped here.
Union Pacific's Passenger statation at Morgan is currently the city Planning & Zooning office. A wonderful use of a structure who's time has past.

The Morgan Depot is located at 100 North Commercial Street and still appears in good repair. The passenger benches are still inside the Depot. The Depot is fenced off from the rail line, but is accessible from Commercial Street.
