To reach Alex Cemetery, take Highway 19 southeast out of Alex about 1.5 miles, then south on Cemetery Road .25 mile. This is slightly rolling prairie land, with few trees.
This tree stump headstone is a medium-sized marker, which stands on two horizontal logs. The seal is the standard Woodmen of the World seal, and the shield inscription reads:
