The city hall is located on Fourth St in downtown Chula Vista. The city hall is a large building. It faces a nice garden area. In the garden area there's a small war memorial and a memorial to Chula Vista's sister cities. Some of the hedges in the garden are pruned to form barriers. Next to the city hall is the council chambers. Also close to the building is the main fire station and the police station.

Chula Vista is located in northern San Diego County. It's the second largest city in the county. In 2010 the city's population was 243,916. The city is located equidistant between San Diego and Tijuana, Mexico. The city is wedged between the mountain in the east and the San Diego Bay in the west.
