Nothing remarkable about this clock, it's old and the hours are struck on a separate bell from those which are rung for the services. The bell weighs 534kg and strikes in F#, it was cast in 1680 by William Noone, a bellfounder who worked in Nottingham in the late C17th and early C18th.
The face, which is on the north side of the tower facing the village, is painted black with the Roman numerals and minute markers picked out in gold. The wrought iron hands are also painted in gold.
