A pictorial sign on the side of the Bulls Head on Castle Street in Shrewsbury. It depicts an image of a large bull in reigns, there is a strong connection to farming in this area as it is mainly rural.
Handy for the railway station on Castle Gates about 100m from the main entrance of the station.
It is dressed in a collection of Victoriana, books, pots and other curiosities giving the whole place a warm feel. William Morris wallpaper adds to the mood. Comfortable lounge with a real open fire. Good value food served. Guest beers from the Marston's group of breweries. Pool room with two tables makes for a nice place to pop if your train is delayed..
