The Lemon Grove city hall is located in downtown Lemon Grove. The city hall shares it's space with the San Diego sheriff's substation. The sheriff provides police protection to the city. The city hall is a simple brick building. In the middle of the building is a parking lot for city cars (other people must park on the street)
Lemon Grove is a small city in San Diego county. Its 2000 population was 25,320. The city is bordered by San Diego, La Mesa and El Cajon. The city was settled in 1869 as a ranching community. It was incorporated in 1977.
About a block from here is the famous giant lemon, a 10-foot lemon sculpture on Lemon Grove and Main St.
