Das Arboretum Schloss Amerang in Amerang besteht seit 1889 am Schloss Amerang. Die Konzeption des Arboretums wird durch den Architekten Sepp Gießibl in Kooperation mit der Familie Crailsheim unter fachlicher Begleitung des Amtes für Landwirtschaft und Forsten Rosenheim erstellt. Es wird mit Unterstützung über das EU-Programm Leader+ vorhandene Arboretum fachlich und didaktisch aufbereitet.

In Amerang hat sich herausgestellt, dass sich die Sicheltanne (Chryptomeria japonica), der wichtigste Waldbaum Japans, in den letzten 30 Jahren besonders gut entwickeln konnte. Auch der Hemlocktanne (Tsuga heterophylla) und dem Riesen-Lebensbaum (Thuja plicata) konnte ähnliches festgestellt werden.

Folgende Bestände finden sich unter anderem im Arboretum:

Baumhasel (Corylus colurna)
Grüne Douglasie (Pseudotsuga menziesii)
Eibe (Taxus baccata)
Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba)
Hemlocktanne (Tsuga canadensis)
Große Küstentanne (Abies grandis)
Sicheltanne (Cryptomeria japonica)
Bergulme (Ulmus glabra hudson)

The arboretum castle Amerang consists since 1889 in Amerang. The concept of the arboretum is created by the architect Sepp Gießibl in cooperation with the family Crailsheim under professional guidance of the Office of Agriculture and Forestry Rosenheim. It is prepared with the support of the EU's Leader + existing Arboretum professionally and educationally.

In Amerang has been shown that the Japanese cedar (Chryptomeria japonica), the most important forest tree in Japan, has developed over the last 30 years very well. The hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla) and the Giant (Thuja plicata) could be found similar.

The following trees are found in the Arboretum, among other things:
